Shift / Schedule Information

Requirements and Skills
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
- Strong clinical knowledge and hands-on experience in Emergency Room nursing
- Ability to perform patient assessments, administer medications, and provide urgent nursing care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple urgent tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering the highest quality patient care
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room, ensuring timely assessment and treatment
- Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and implement physician orders
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations, maintaining composure and delivering critical interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient conditions, treatments, and outcomes in line with healthcare regulations
- Educate patients and family members on medical conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions
- Adhere strictly to infection prevention protocols and safety guidelines within the ER setting
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license in Michigan
- Previous experience as an ER Nurse preferred but not mandatory
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification highly desirable
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a dynamic healthcare team
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Compensation and Benefits
